Fo Guang University
In response to global trends in health, sustainability, and intelligent management education, Fo Guang University officially established the College of Health, LOHAS & Management in the 2025 academic year through the merger of the former College of Management and College of LOHAS Industries.
The College integrates interdisciplinary knowledge in health, economics, management, and LOHAS industries, and is committed to cultivating professionals who possess solid theoretical foundations, practical competencies, social responsibility, and innovative spirit.
Our curricula combine health sciences, sports management, wellness and preventive care, finance and economics, and business management, enabling students not only to acquire professional expertise but also to grasp emerging trends in health promotion and industrial development.

Academic Units
The College comprises five departments (programs):
1. Department of Applied Economics
Focusing on economic theory as its foundation and emphasizing interdisciplinarity, practical training, and internationalization, this department cultivates applied professionals in industrial economics, financial planning, and international business.
2. Department of Management
With a core focus on product development, entrepreneurship, financial management, and human resource management, the department strengthens professional certification, information technology applications, corporate internships, and interdisciplinary training to cultivate talents with strong workplace competitiveness and leadership potential.
By integrating AI-driven consumer behavior analysis, cross-border e-commerce, VR/AR applications, and leisure industry practices, the department enhances marketing project planning and immersive experience design, thereby strengthening students’ practical innovation and employability.
3. Bachelor’s Program in Sports and Health Promotion Management
This program is dedicated to nurturing student-athletes while balancing athletic skill training with theoretical and practical learning in sports science and health promotion. It prepares graduates for careers in sports-related industries and health promotion sectors, enhancing their professional competitiveness.
4. Department of LOHAS Industries
Anchored in the core values of health, sustainability, and LOHAS, the department integrates theory with practice and emphasizes social engagement. It cultivates professionals with a global perspective and strong local commitment, contributing to social well-being and industrial development.
5. Department of Creative Healthy Vegetarian Industries
Through teaching, research, industry–academia collaboration, and industrial services, this department promotes healthy and creative vegetarian lifestyles, realizing the理念 of “Healthy Vegetarianism, Environmental Protection, and Love for the Earth,” and aims to become a leader in vegetarian industry research, development, and promotion.
